While War and Peace holds a special place in the history of modern opera for its sheer scale, particularly its cast, L'Amour des trois oranges is presented as a fairy tale inspired by the Commedia dell'arte, a page full of humour created in Chicago in 1921 to a French-language libretto.
Co-production: Opéra National de Lyon | Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
