Le Dibbouk, a theatrical monument of Jewish culture, was created in 1920 during a period of great global upheaval, a prelude to the catastrophes that followed. Today, we are experiencing a turning point in history, an era of fury where our benchmarks are cracking. As the play's subtitle highlights, we are “between two worlds”.

Le Dibbouk tells a story of love and possession haunted by the memory of fiancés massacred during a pogrom in a shtetl on their wedding day. Like a repetition of history, we are once again reminded of humanity's tragic hours.
