Revealed by her unmissable single Banana Split, Lio represents today one of the greatest francophone pop icons. The 1979 release of Banana Split opened the way to a series of hits such as Amoureux Solitaires, Amicalement Vôtre, and Week-end à Rome in duet with Étienne Daho.
With 11 albums to her credit, Lio makes her grand return with a 12th studio album: Geoid Party in the Sky. A record born from the desire to return to her first loves and pay tribute to the beautiful encounters that life has given her.
To the beautiful encounters of her career next, and this is above all what her new project is rich with.
Lio calls upon some of the biggest names of the new pop generation: Louane, Hoshi, Corine, Isia Marie, Betta Lemme, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Marie Darrieussecq and Sofia Portanet have all agreed to write for the Belgian-Portuguese icon.
Each lyric is written first and foremost around an encounter, a transmission and addresses themes common to all women, of all generations. Lio will tour throughout France and on the mythic Olympia stage in Paris on 17 December 2026!
