In brief

Founded in 2010, the Amazing Keystone Big Band brilliantly captures the spirit of the great big bands of the swing era and the virtuosity of today's jazz. Friends since their days at the Conservatoire, pianist Fred Nardin, saxophonist Jon Boutellier, trombonist Bastien Ballaz and trumpeter David Enhco lead the ensemble and handle its arrangements. Tonight they accompany Neïma Naouri in a tribute to Judy Garland, an artist whom the young singer reveres more than any other. Neïma has been passionate about American musicals since her early childhood, and she excels in them. She was recently seen in the cast of Gypsy at the Philharmonie de Paris, and in a "Broadway en famille" concert right here alongside her parents, Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri. No doubt about it: a star is born.
