Les Grandes Œuvres

Fantaisies sur Walt Disney by Jean-François Zygel

Cast: Jean-François Zygel, piano and composition

The Auditorium, the emblematic hall of La Seine Musicale, captivates with its immersive 360-degree architecture, inspired by the vineyard model, offering a unique closeness between the artists and the audience. A true acoustic jewel box, it hosts an ambitious programme devoted to the great works of the repertoire, to recitals and to exceptional musical projects. Over the seasons, the resident orchestra at La Seine Musicale, Insula orchestra, and its guest season, develop a strong artistic identity there. These outstanding ensembles share the stage with soloists of international renown and emerging young talents, making every concert a singular moment. At the crossroads of tradition and creation, the Auditorium's programming fully reflects the dynamism and openness of today's classical scene.

In partnership with La Seine Musicale, where he regularly develops original projects, the celebrated improvising pianist Jean-François Zygel gives free rein to his musical inventiveness to take us, with fantasy and virtuosity, in the footsteps of Walt Disney. From the first animated films to the iconic characters born from Disney's talent as a draughtsman, from the extraordinary adventure of the studios to the unforgettable musical themes that punctuate the animated masterpieces, Jean-François Zygel will in turn imagine a magical and fascinating sound world during this unique concert. Between poetry, humour and emotion, an original and captivating "cinematic recital", not to be missed.

La Seine Musicale does not admit children under 3 years old into the hall.
