Focus Danse : Adentro, D. Szeinblum & Tendre Colère, C. et F. Ben Aïm

Presented by Cap - Vallée de la Marne. 7pm: "Adentro" / Diana Szeinblum. Chests puff out, feet stamp the ground, hands recreate folk dances through airy gestures. What if the very soul of Argentina lay in its traditional dances? Adentro!

("inside", in Spanish) probes this idea by tracing the movements back to their origins. The gestures, however understated, of a trio in perfect harmony conjure up the wind-swept pampas, or the living persistence of a past that refuses to fade.

Like a volcanic eruption building before it bursts out with force, an Argentine identity is reassembled here through abstract dance, building to an exhilarating climax. 8:50pm: "Tendre Colère" / François & Christian Ben Aïm.

"Tendre Colère" is a utopian statement, a dancing illusion, a remedy for melancholy, a thumbed nose at rage and abandonment.

Carried by 10 virtuosic, raw performers, this choreographic piece explores how individuals, faced with chaos, turn to the collective to unite, support one another and rebel. From this collective energy come powerful, captivating and often humorous alchemies.

Full of fury and tenderness, they speak to each of us, inviting us to act and reinvent ourselves together. A major, powerful dance event, where tenderness and anger meet in dialogue.
