Imminentes

She composes here a vibrant sextet in which bodies, united in a synergy, weave a hypnotic and transcendent dance.

In this ritual of a new kind, gentleness becomes strength and slowness becomes a cry. The performers, through their singularities and their solidarity, remind us that beneath conflict and disorder, a common energy animates us, unchanging and universal. Against destruction, hatred and the violence of the present, choreographer Jann Gallois aims to remind us that another path is possible. Imminentes presents this alternative as a flood, a piercing tide carried by six sovereign women, sorceresses, goddesses and nymphs who raise their murmurs like bellowing. Imminentes carries us, like a restorative choreographic wave, in the wake of these gentle warriors overflowing with life.

“Imminentes is a rallying cry at the heart of the storm, a work that lingers in the mind long after the curtain falls.” La Croix
