Overview
The relationship between body and objects lies at the heart of the creative approach of the company Les Nouveaux Ballets du Nord-Pas de Calais. In Magnéééétique Face A, two dancers play and tangle themselves in magnetic tape to portray a complex relationship with the other: friendship, competition, arguments, but also reconciliation. Play, pause, stop, fast forward, rewind: the body language is then inspired by the emblematic functions of the cassette. In a colourful imaginary world, the performers' bodies face each other as in a dance battle. A genuine musical and choreographic playground and a charming story of friendship between fusion and emancipation!
Before and after the performance, children are invited to discover the cassette and its many uses through various interactive islands.
