From the luminous elegance of Fauré to the expressive fervour of Poulenc, from Duruflé's subtly Gregorian chant-inspired writing to the singular personality of Jehan Alain, each work reveals a unique way of fostering dialogue between tradition and modernity. The compositions of Yves Castagnet, heir to this musical history and a major player in the artistic life of Notre-Dame de Paris, extend this lineage in a contemporary creation deeply rooted in the liturgy.
