A sought-after soloist and passionate chamber musician, he explores the multiple colours of the guitar and invites the audience on a journey through styles and cultures. With this programme, partly drawn from his latest album Arcane 17, he takes the listener on a musical world tour: from the Spain of Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Rodrigo to the soundscapes of Johann Kaspar Mertz, all the way to the rhythms of Latin America and Cuba with Egberto Gismonti, Agustín Barrios Mangoré and Leo Brouwer. A vibrant journey through the most inventive guitar universes of the 20th century and beyond.
