Marie-France, Luc and Michel were 18 in 1968. In 1981, they celebrated François Mitterrand's election together. Forty years later, they no longer vote the same way, no longer share the same convictions, and sometimes struggle to understand each other. What happened?

With humour and intelligence, Génération Mitterrand traces their journeys to explore the hopes, disillusionments and transformations that have swept through French society over recent decades. In turn, the three characters embody François Mitterrand himself, blurring the lines between intimate narrative and grand History.

Without nostalgia or judgment, this lively and delightful comedy questions what unites or divides generations, territories and life paths. Through singular destinies, it paints a sensitive portrait of a France in motion.

Carried by three remarkable performers, this show, as funny as it is stimulating, invites us to look at our recent history with perspective, curiosity and humanity.
