Les Contes de Perrault

Les Frivolités Parisiennes and Valérie Lesort take on Perrault's Tales in the style of the early twentieth century: poetry and zaniness guaranteed.

Come and discover how Little Red Riding Hood comes to love Cinderella, and how the destinies of Donkeyskin, Puss in Boots, Riquet with the Tuft and Prince Charming come to cross, how the good fairy Morgane flies to the rescue of the heroes and heroines mistreated by the wicked sorcerer Olibrius… You will also be surprised by the poetic vein of Félix Fourdrain and his ability to transform places and beings as if by magic, the thatched cottage giving way to the palace, the forest animals becoming courtiers, before a magnificent waltz offered by the Fairy is taken up by everyone.

The show imagined by Valérie Lesort transports us to the heart of fairyland, to lands of fantasy where the marvellous and magic summon the child within our soul.
