Overview
Presented by Aztec Musique RELEASE PARTY - New album 'CALDEIRA' Mario Canonge, mythical pianist from Martinique, seems to have found his essential spiritual and artistic truth with this magical trio with telluric accents.
Like three 'AYURVÉDA' elements MARIO CANONGE, MICHEL ALIBO and ARNAUD DOLMEN, reveal themselves respectively poetically as: fire earth and air… Around the quest for an imaginary absolute, these three shamans reunite to celebrate the very essence of Earth within itself with its original magma, like burning blood that gives life.
This opus, named 'CALDEIRA' which represents the circular depression at the heart of a volcanic edifice, recalls the learned music of this Trio, born from an eruption of ideas as creative as they are innovative.
To the brilliant notes of this almost mystical triptych are added those of virtuoso saxophonist GODWIN LOUIS, an American jazz musician of Haitian origin. ' -MARIO CANONGE.
