Un Samedi pour Conter is a unique formula to approach or deepen storytelling in an interdisciplinary way. "Light" in terms of price and duration, it is accessible to all, regulars and curious alike. The show broadens the circle, and the shared dinner formula contributes to the convivial dimension.

This formula combines:

• a limited-duration storytelling workshop (3h)
• a Storytelling show, by the same storyteller-trainer

It is at once a hive (where people meet and reconnect), an adventure (where one tries their hand at storytelling), a journey (a storyteller draws you into their specific universe), and a perspective (one "tastes" the learning of a storyteller without committing to a full course).

How to tell a story with almost nothing? How to embody multiple characters without changing costumes? How to make a ghost appear, wield a sword, or run on a cushion… simply with the body, voice, and a few precise conventions? The workshop offers a first immersion into the grammar of rakugo and its performance principles. Participants themselves experiment with this form of narration, focusing on body, voice, characters, and audience interaction. It's not just about observing a traditional art: it's about putting it into practice.

This is a journey into the Japan of stories. From the world of kami and foundational myths to more trivial and everyday tales, Stéphane Ferrandez reveals a Japan where the sacred and the popular can coexist.
