About — The artist
Voces8 is a British a cappella octet composed of two women (soprano and alto) and six men (distributed among the different sections of countertenor, tenor, baritone, and bass).
Since 2021, the ensemble has included a second soprano position (performed by a female voice). The rest of the lineup (5 male voices) consists of a second alto/countertenor, 2 tenors, 1 baritone, and a bass.
