La Rive

Louise Vignaud continues in La Rive her work as playwright and director, which we first discovered in Les THÉÂTRES with the show Nuit d’Octobre. Drawing its inspiration from ancient tragedy, La Rive plunges us into the struggle of four women confronted with exile and war. Through the stories of these shattered destinies, the theatre becomes here a mirror of a world in upheaval and of a war that erases all borders: geographical, political and intimate. In a dialogue between ancient tragedy and the contemporary world, the play gives back to women and to victims a voice that History has always sought to make invisible. In this choral theatre, Louise Vignaud promises us a sunny yet hard-hitting show.
