About — The artist
The Orchestre Colonne is a Parisian symphony orchestra.
Founded in 1873 by Édouard Colonne under the name Association artistique des Concerts Colonne, it is one of the oldest Parisian associative orchestras still active, alongside the Concerts Pasdeloup (1861) and the Concerts Lamoureux (1881).
