Agathe Francopoulo, Francesco Cosentini and Nils Wekstein, respectively voice, guitar and percussion, explore a chosen repertoire of Brazilian songs ranging from bossa nova to popular samba, through new MPB (musica popular brasileira).
The trio brings together three musicians with singular paths: a guitarist of Italian and Gypsy music, a specialist in Afro-Cuban percussion and a singer passionate about Brazil for a long time.
Guided by Agathe's intense and airy voice, they perform this style with personal arrangements and some original compositions, moving from the most delicate saudade to the lively rhythms that make the richness of Brazilian music.
