About — The artist

Les Siècles is an orchestra created in 2003 by François-Xavier Roth, with the ambition of contextualising works from the 17th century to the present day. The musicians of this orchestra play each repertoire on the appropriate historical instruments. In May 2024, the ensemble experienced a crisis following accusations against François-Xavier Roth of sending unsolicited sexual messages. He immediately resigned from his position following these revelations.
